Anything I can apply to the outside of a large glass tube to reinforce the glass?
I have a large glass tobacco pipe that has a small break on one part of it. I took krazy glue and repaired that certain area, but now it is extremely sensitive. I was wondering if there was any kind of putty, glue, epoxy or something that I could apply to the exterior of the glass break area and down onto the more solid part of the glass as to reinforce the sensitive area. Preferably something that will harden extremely hard and will be able to be applied to glass. Can anyone help, please? Thanks!
A great epoxy is called JB Weld. This epoxy is very strong and you can get it at just about any auto store or home improvement store too. There is the regular JB Weld and there is the JB Weld Kwik Set. The Kwik Set sets up in about 20 minutes and full cure in about 4 hours.
